Rockets are the mainstay of space exploration. Human missions to Moon were the apex of rocket technology in space age. Human mission to Mars will test the limits of rocket technology. Enormous risks are associated with the use of hundreds of tonnes of explosive fuel for a human mission to Mars. At Mareekh Design, we see potential in alternate propulsion systems to the current rocket technology, either to replace the rockets entirely, or be used as an adjunct to the rocket fuel in order to reduce the load of fuel that needs to be carried in any space exploration mission. We believe that an alternate and equally efficient propulsion system is the way to go.
